10th Artisan Cheese
The tenth edition of the Artisanal Cheese Fair will be held in Montanejos, Castellón, on October 4 and 5.
A wide range of activities to enjoy artisan cheese in this thermal town.
PROGRAM
Friday, October 3
7:00 PM – Showcooking at the Villa Purificación Castellón Gastronomic Space Ruta de Sabor by Ángela Gimeno, winner of the 13th edition of Masterchef.
10:30 PM – Performance by Pacoenlaluna + Bandelocos, a pop, rumba, and son show with a touch of humor. In the Villa Purificación Gardens.
Saturday, October 4
10:00 AM – Opening of the exhibition stands and the tasting and refill points located in Plaza España and Calle Manuel Pradas.
11:00 AM – Meeting of the Jury for the Tasting Competition at the Hotel-Restaurant El Palacio.
11:30 a.m. – Visit by authorities and official opening of the 10th Montanejos Artisan Cheese Fair on the stage on Manuel Pradas Street.
2:00 p.m. – Announcement of the jury’s decision on the stage on Manuel Pradas Street and presentation of the awards to the distinguished cheeses of the 10th edition, sponsored by the Valencian Community Crafts Center.
5:30 p.m. – Showcooking at the Villa Purificación Castelló Ruta de Sabor Gastronomic Space by Jonathan Rodríguez, Executive Chef of the Viana Palace, part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.
7:30 p.m. – Wine tasting and pairing at the Villa Purificación Gastronomic Space with Castelló Ruta de Sabor products, led by José Manuel Manglano and Rosa Vázquez, accompanied by a performance by pianist Juanvi Llinares.
10:30 PM – On the stage on Calle Manuel Pradas, a performance by the band Canal 69.
Sunday, October 5
10:30 AM – Opening of the Artisan Cheese Fairgrounds stands.
11:30 AM – Showcooking on the stage on Calle Manuel Pradas, led by Jase BoU, Executive Chef of the “L’ Ermita” Restaurant in La Alquería de Montanejos.
8:00 PM – Closing ceremony and closing ceremony of the 10th Montanejos Artisan Cheese Fair.
