30th San Simón da Costa Cheese Festival (Vilalba, Galicia)

The 30th San Simón da Costa Cheese Festival will take place on April 4th and 5th, 2026. In addition to the seven traditional cheese dairies of the San Simón da Costa PDO, there will be twelve more, arriving from different parts of Spain and participating in the European Cheese Route. Furthermore, there will be 20 other stalls focused on cheese.

Saturday, April 4th

9:30 a.m. Start of the 10th Terra Chá Mountain Bike Route featuring San Simón da Costa Cheese.

11:00 a.m. Opening of the festival, in Praza da Constitución (Constitution Square).

12:00 p.m. Showcooking: Let’s Cook with Marcos Pereiro.

1:00 p.m. Vermouth session with Mekanika Rolling Band.

4:00 p.m. Children’s cooking workshop with San Simón cheese.

6:00 p.m. Cheese and sake tasting.
7:00 p.m. Proclamation by Marcos Pereiro.
10:30 p.m. Concert by 9Louro and Mondra, in the Praza de Santa María.

Sunday April 5

10:00 a.m. Opening of the fairgrounds, in Praza da Constitución.
12:00 p.m. Showcooking by Miguel Mosteiro with Aceites Abril.
1:00 p.m. Vermouth session by Festicultores.
4:00 p.m. Cheese and cava tasting
5:00 p.m. Sunday dance at the Cultural and Recreational Center.
5:30 p.m. Guided tasting of DOP San Simón da Costa and DO Ribeiro cheeses.
7:00 p.m. Closing of the fair.
